The Belgium region

Anno 2025 Sr Rose Buyls and Sr Mia Derycke work as nurses at the Saint-Jozef clinic in Izegem.
The presence of sisters on the boards of education, the hospital, residential and care centres, assisted living facilities and the nursery continues a meaningful mission.
Due to aging, much of the direct and professional involvement has diminished.
However, small but not insignificant services can still be a valuable contribution.
Some sisters volunteer in residential care centres. Other sisters are involved in parish life through assisting in the church, in secretarial work, serving as team members, by visiting the sick and various other forms of voluntary work.
3 fellow Congolese sisters help in our region of Belgium.
